MALACCA TRIP!

It was the first time for six of us to having a trip together and Malacca is the destination that we choose to visit. We have been chosen Malacca city, a state which everyone knows there is a lot of history that occurred in that state. Most of Malacca's citizens are generous. Meanwhile, they are also friendly and humble to us. For example, they are willing to help us get good places to visit at Malacca. Other than that, they also being nice to tourists, regardless of local and foreign. For instance, people there, shared stories about the history of the places that we have visited. Lastly, people or everyone at Malacca City is very helpful and kind.

Melaka is very famous for its historical places and there are also interesting places to visit. Among the places we went to is the Melaka Museum. In Melaka Museum we can find out the history of Malacca sultanate era and indirectly we can add knowledge while traveling to enjoy the beauty that is in Malacca. Apart from that, we also stopped to perform prayers at Melaka street mosque. It is a famous mosque in the city of Melaka. The architecture is so eye-catching. On the second day of our vacation, we went to the Zoo Melaka. There are various types of animals that are there including tigers, elephants, giraffes and so on. We also visited the Sky Tower. Sky Tower is a building with 41 floors all of which are filled with glass. The floor and walls itself were made of glass. Indirectly we get a very dancing experience which is walking on the glass floor. Admission fees is also cheap at RM18 per person. Besides that, we also visited the famous upside-down house in Melaka.

We also want to experience the beauty of the beach in Melaka, we went to Pantai Klebang. There we could see the atmosphere of the sunset. In the evening, we visited Melaka River Cruise. It is in the city of Melaka. It is very fun because you can feel the boat ride with the atmosphere of the night wind. On our last day in Melaka, we visited the city of A' Famosa. The city is also a historical place in Melaka. It is the oldest European architecture in Asia. It is also a former fortress built by the Portuguese when the Portuguese colonized Melaka. And do not forget we also stopped by to buy some souvenirs in Melaka.

The best thing about this trip is food! Whenever you go to Malacca, you must go to Roti Canai Kayu Arang to enjoy the breakfast that very rare to found which is roti canai that cooked with ‘dapur arang’. Roti Canai Kayu Arang has become a must stop for tourists visiting Melaka or hot spot for tourist and of course it extremely crowded in the weekends, especially during long stretch of holidays. Second food that should try is chicken rice ball at Nasi Ayam Bonda, Kampung Bachang. When think of chicken rice in Melaka, it is usually chicken rice balls that doubts about certificate halal, but Nasi Ayam Bonda is our recommendation for delicious halal chicken rice and you can also try out the Kelapa Shake. There are many delicious food that we can found in Malacca!

For those who want to visit Malacca, they need to leave early to reach Malacca to avoid traffic jam from toll to city center. Most important, they need to deal early for hotel and visit many places within the best time such as Menara Taming and Sky Tower. We prefer them to visit during the working week rather on public holidays and the best time is at night. Besides that, they should visit Zoo Melaka during weekdays to avoid crowded. On a rainy season, they should carry a raincoat. Next is Pantai Klebang that becomes hot during afternoon, so it is better to visit the beaches during early hours in the morning or late afternoon. Furthermore, they should visit Kota A’ Famosa early in the morning about 7 am to enjoy the sun rise view.

Basically, there are so many things that we can learn from our trip especially about the history in Melaka as we all well informed that Melaka is an historical places. Next, we were very excited and enjoyed our trip because we are able to get some experiences which are something surprise and quite disappointed things that happen during our trip in Melaka. It happened when we about to book our hotel which is Hotel Sentral Review Melaka. We were surprised about the hotel price per night. The rate considered as cheap and affordable. On the other hands, the receptionists were very nice, humble and friendly. There were few workers helped us on the first day because we cannot found where is the cafeteria.  Other than that, there were few issues that we had to face which are parking issue and the room. We had problems with the access card but the staff managed to help us calmly. Moreover, the room is quite smelly but overall we are comfortable with the rooms provided by the hotel.

If there is any chance to go to another trip, we need to plan the itinerary well because in this trip, we have some difficulties to adapt with the time gap between the activities that we need to do after. We were slightly late for 10 minutes for the next activities that we planned to do. In the future, we would like to make sure that no one will late for the next activity so that we were able to visit more places. Besides that, we also need to detail out the restaurant we want to go for eat. This is because for this trip, we also run out of the money that we bring because the dishes in the restaurant is quite expensive. We also need to bring some backup pocket money if there is not enough money to pay the bills.

Our next destination is Sabah, Malaysia. Sabah is also known for its beaches, rainforest, coral reefs, and abundant wildlife, much of it within parks and reserves. These are the places to go in Sabah such as Tip of Borneo, Kinabalu National Park, Sepilok Orangutan Rehabilitation Centre, Danum Valley, and Mari Mari Cultural Village. Besides, a lot of things to do in places that we have stated just now. In the current situation that cannot allow us to trip abroad as before but it is not a problem for us, in fact, it also allows us as Malaysians to promote Sabah or any state in Malaysia as our support for the product local in other words.

These are some photos from our trip in Malacca!

We hope that you are enjoy while reading our blog and hoping that you will also come to Malacca to experience all this tourists attraction spot. Goodbye!!  ðŸ’—
